Trying out Cretacolor nature pastel on figure

Still trying to get a hang of this nature palette, supposed to be used for nature sketches on location... on figures. Also, these pastels seem to dissolve in water, so I'm exploring that approach as well. A3, based on ref stock by Ava Bock in DA (modified a wide grin in the ref into a subtler smile).
